Legal framework
The new Royal Decree 22/03/21 (revision of Royal Decree 21/01/2009) containing instructions for pharmacists allows the pharmacist to outsource any type of magistral preparation to a fellow pharmacist. In addition, the outsourcing of 6 specific categories to a manufacturing authorisation holder is still permitted, including e.g. homeopathic preparations, sterile preparations, etc.

In order to provide maximum administrative and logistical support for this cooperation between pharmacists, Fagron Compounding Services built a user-friendly digital platform with a wide and extremely flexible range of magistral formulations. The sterile preparations of Fagron Sterile Services are now also available via the same ordering platform. Fagron Compounding Services is now the portal for the outsourcing of your magistral preparations!

The aseptic and high-risk preparations of Fagron Sterile Services are now also available via the magisterial outsourcing platform:

How does it work?

3. Delivered with care, from
the next working day!
Step 1 – Create an account on the Fagron Compounding Services platform without obligation. After manual verification of your data, your account will be activated and you will be able to view the entire content of the platform. In order to be able to place orders, you must additionally sign the outsourcing agreement between yourself and the list of affiliated subcontractors once.
Step 2 – Ready to outsource one or more preparations?
- For Belgian (hospital)pharmacists: choose from more than 1500 formulas in our portfolio. You can immediately view the price and the details of the preparation. Orders placed on a working day before 10 a.m.* will be delivered to your pharmacy the next working day, usually in the morning. Always add the prescription reference number to your order.
- Can’t find the desired formula on the platform yet? Request any formula via the customer service team. We will get back to you as soon as possible with a price proposal.
- Do you want a combination of a standard formula and a new formula, delivered in a single order? Please contact the customer service team and inform them which standard product(s) you would like to add to your order. The new application is leading for determining the delivery date.
Step 3 – Your order will be delivered via our qualified logistical partner, together with the signed preparation report. You will receive the invoice digitally.
